>>>I love Kim Harrison’s urban fantasy book series built around her main character, Rachel Morgan. The first book in the series is called Dead Witch Walking. Rachel Morgan is a witch who lives in Cincinnati in a renovated church(in a section of the city called The Hollows) with her best friend and partner, Ivy Tamwood, a living vampire who retains her soul. They both left law enforcement – the I.S. – to form their own private security agency. Also joining them in their new business is the 6-inch tall pixy, Jenks, who along with his wife Matalina and their 54 kids, live with Rachel and Ivy.
>>>A favorite exercise among Kim Harrison’s fans is to cast actors for what Kim calls the “relax-they-aren’t-going-to-make-it-Hollows movie.” Although no immediate plans are in the works for a movie, we can only hope someone in Hollywood falls in love with this terrific series and it’s memorable characters.
>>>I chose actors I not only thought looked like the characters described in the books, but who I thought would do a great job–actors who would actually have a shot at being cast in a big Hollywood blockbuster. I used photos–and videos for the main characters–for all the characters I could think of(did I leave anybody out?*grin*). Feel free to give me a grade, or offer alternative opinions. Here goes…
Rachel Morgan: Witch, age 24-26. Emma Stone.
Rachel Morgan: Witch, age 24-26. Emma Stone.
Rachel Morgan: Emma Stone
>>>I think Emma Stone is a really talented young actress(Superbad/Zombieland) who would be perfect for the part. She’s funny, beautiful, and likeable, and Hollywood LOVES her.
Ivy Tamwood: Living Vampire, age 26-28. Maggie Q.
Ivy Tamwood: Maggie Q
>>>Maggie Q is a protege of Jackie Chan and has appeared in many action movies. In America, she appeared in Mission Impossible 3, and is now appearing on TV as Nikita(in the CW show of the same name). And will soon be seen in the movie Priest. It was difficult to find an Asian-American actress to play the part until Maggie came along. She’s perfect for the part.
Jenks: 6-inch-tall, flying pixy. Married, father of 54. Justin Timberlake.
Jenks: Justin Timberlake
>>>I know Justin Timberlake is going to be my most controversial pick. But hear me out: Jenks is described as looking very young, but because of a pixy’s relatively short life-span, he’s actually an older adult. The actor who plays him has to look young, blond, and handsome, but also have a composed aura about him. He needs to be athletic, and he has to be funny. I’m not a fan of his music, but he has become an accomplished actor, as well as a competent comedian(if you’ve ever seen him in an interview or when he hosts SNL, I think you’ll agree he could do it). And again, a very bankable star.
Kisten Felps: Living Vampire, age 26-28. Matt Bomer.
Kisten Felps: Matt Bomer
>>>Matt Bomer is the star of USA Network’s White Collar. He’s a relative newcomer. I know he isn’t blond(laugh) or a big star, but I think he has all the qualities to play Kisten. He has that metrosexual vibe about him. He’s sexy, but accessible and likeable to women and men. Kisten is a submissive vamp–he’s NOT a “tough guy,” but he can be strong when he has to be.
Trent Kalamack: Elf, age 27-29. Chris Pine.
Trent Kalamack: Chris Pine
>>>After appearing in a number of movies and TV shows, Chris Pine got his big break in 2009 playing James T. Kirk in the new Star Trek franchise. He’s been very busy since then, and would be a great “get” to play the conniving politician, businessman, Trent Kalamack.
Algaliarept: Demon. Thousands of years old. Johnny Depp.
Algaliarept: Johnny Depp
>>>Not only is Johnny Depp Kim Harrison’s choice to play the pivotal role of Algaliarept, but he may be the biggest movie star on the planet. If he liked the script, he could get the movie “green-lighted” in a Hollywood heartbeat.
Rynn Cormel: Undead Vampire. Former President. Mark Valley.
Rynn Cormel: Mark Valley
>>>Mark Valley is a veteran TV actor who has appeared in a number of shows, including Boston Legal and Fringe. He currently stars in Human Target. He looks like a slick vampire politician, doesn’t he?
Dorothy “Skimmer” Claymore: Living Vampire, age 26-28.
Kristen Bell
Skimmer: Kristen Bell
>>>Kristen Bell has appeared in a number of TV shows, including Veronica Mars and Heroes, as well as a number of movies: Couples Retreat, Forgetting Sarah Marshall…I think she would be great as the jealous vamp, Skimmer.
Captain Eden of the I.S.: Human. Bruce Campbell.
Captain Edden: Bruce Campbell
>>>Bruce Campbell is the star of the “Evil Dead” movies, and is currently starring in the USA Network’s hit, Burn Notice.
Detective Mathew Glenn: Human, F.I.B. Boris Kodjoe.
Detective Glenn: Boris Kodjoe
>>>Boris Kodjoe has appeared in movies and television, and is currently starring in the NBC show, Undercovers.
Stanley “Lee” Saladan: Witch, age 26-29. Paul Walker.
Stanley “Lee” Saladan: Paul Walker
>>>Paul Walker has appeared in many movies, including The Fast And The Furious, Into The Blue, Eight Below, and most recently, Takers. He could play the bad-boy witch from California, right?
Gordian Nathaniel Pierce: Witch. Joseph Gordon-Levitt.
Pierce: Joseph Gordon-Levitt.
>>>Joseph Gordon-Levitt got his start on television starring in the long-running show, 3rd Rock From The Sun. He now has become a sought-after movie star, starring in movies such as G.I. Joe, 55 Days Of Summer, and Inception. Pierce is a strange enigma of a witch–is he a good guy, or a bad guy? The character calls for a great actor, I think, to bring him to life onscreen.
Ford Miller: Human Det. for I.S. Paul Rudd.
Ford Miller: Paul Rudd.
>>>Paul Rudd is a busy comedic actor starring in a number of movies: I Love You Man, Dinner For Shmucks, Role Models, Knocked Up, etc. The character of Ford, the gifted but troubled I.S. agent, needs a funny, sympathetic actor like the talented Paul Rudd.
Minias: Demon. Thousands of years old. Bill Hader.
Minias: Bill Hader
>>>Minias is a put-upon, hen-picked Demon. I think he is a comical figure and Bill Hader would be hilarious in the role. He’s probably the busiest comedic character actor working today. He seems to be in everything: Saturday Night Live on TV, as well as countless movies(Scott Pilgrim vs. The World, Night At The Museum, Adventureland, Tropic Thunder, Superbad, Knocked Up, among many…).
Nick Sparagmos: Human, age 25-28. Andrew Garfield.
Nick: Andrew Garfield
>>>Nick is originally Rachel’s love interest, but ends up betraying her. He’s a bit of a weasel. Andrew Garfield is a relative unknown, but that is about to change. This year alone, he is set to star in Never Let Me Go, The Social Network, and he has been cast to replace Toby McGuire as the new Spider Man.
Mia Harbor: Banshee, over 200 years old. Natalie Portman.
Mia Harbor: Natalie Portman
>>>Mia is a banshee that steals a person’s aura for sustenance. She’s dangerous and will kill to protect those she loves. Natalie Portman has been a movie star since she was a child. Some of her movies include Black Swan, V For Vendetta, Star Wars, as well as the upcoming Pride and Prejudice and Zombies.
David Hue: Werewolf. Sam Worthington.
David Hue: Sam Worthington
>>>David is a reluctant hero, but he is a loyal friend to Rachel Morgan. Sam Worthington has starred in a number of successful films, including Clash Of The Titans, Terminator salvation, and Avatar.
Leon “Keasley” Bairnes: Witch. Former I.S. Agent. Roger Robinson.
Keasley: Roger Robinson
>>>Roger Robinson is a veteran actor in movies, television(currently starring in AMC’s Rubicon), and the stage(won the Tony for acting in 2009).
Newt: Powerful female Demon. Thousands of years old. Tilda Swinton.
Newt: Tilda Swinton
>>>Tilda Swinton, with her androgynous good looks, is perfect to play the mentally unstable, powerful Demon, Newt. She has appeared in a number of movies, including Constantine, Julia, Michael Clayton, The Curious Case of Benjamin Button, and The Chronicles of Narnia.
Ceridwen “Ceri” Dulciate: Elf. Age: 1 Thousand. Malin Akerman.
Ceri: Malin Akerman
>>>Ceri is over a thousand because of Demon curses, but she is said to look about 30. She is tough and powerful, as well as beautiful. Malin Akerman has starred in many movies, including Watchmen, 27 Dresses, The Proposal, and Couples Retreat.
Quen: Elf. Age: 40+. Trent’s bodyguard. Robert Downey Jr.
Quen: Robert Downey Jr.
>>>Robert Downey Jr. is a huge movie star, and I know he doesn’t fit Quen’s description as a Dark Elf, but I think the part calls for someone who can stand up to Trent Kalamack and attract the eye of the beautiful Ceri. And any movie that has Robert Downey Jr. in it is going to be better for it, right?
Piscarry: Undead Vampire. Age: 500+. Ben Kingsley.
Piscarry: Ben Kingsley
>>>Ben Kingsley is a great veteran actor, starring in many academy award-winning movies. Piscarry is an evil, domineering vampire who is the primary villian in the book series, and Mr. Kingsley is more than up for the part.
Erica Randal: Living Vamp, teenager. Ivy’s sister. Jamie Chung.
Erica Randal: Jamie Chung
>>>Jamie Chung is a young actress who has starred on television, as well as in the movies(Sorority Row, Burning Palms, Grown ups, and the upcoming Sucker Punch).
Takata: Witch. Singer/Songwriter. Rachel’s dad. Thomas Haden Church.
Takata: Thomas Haden Church
>>>Takata(real name “Donald”) is Rachel’s biological father. He is described as a famous recording artist who is eccentric in appearance and lifestyle. Thomas Haden Church is a veteran actor, starring in such films as Sideways and Spider-Man 3, as well as the upcoming Easy A(starring Emma Stone!).
Alice Morgan: Witch. Rachel’s mother. Catherine Keener.
Alice Morgan: Catherine Keener
>>>Catherine Keener is an Academy-nominated actress who has starred in such films as Percy Jackson, Where The Wild Things Are, Into The Wild, and The 40-yr-old Virgin.
Ku’Sox: Demon. Thousands of years old. Paul Bettany.
Ku’Sox: Paul Bettany.
>>>Ku’Sox is an unstable and dangerous day-walking demon. Paul Bettany has appeared in a number of Hollywood films: Legion, Inkheart, Master and Commander, and in the upcoming release, Priest, he plays a vampire-hunting priest in a dystopian wild west.
Vivian Smith: White Witch, Coven member. 30-ish. Elizabeth Banks.
Vivian Smith: Elizabeth Banks
>>>Vivian’s relationship with Rachel Morgan is initially an adversarial one, but later she becomes a powerful ally. Elizabeth banks is a dramatic and comedic star of TV(30 Rock, Scrubs) and film: Role Models, W., Zack and Miri Make A Porno, Definitely Maybe, all 3 Spiderman films, Seabiscuit, Catch Me If You Can, and The Uninvited.
Bis: Teenage gargoyle. Lives w/Rachel at church.(Unknown actor*grin*)

I can totally see Gabriel as Newt! xD
Neal as Kisten, though . . . I dunno. Neal would be the perfect Daemon (Anne Bishops’ Dark Jewel series . . . Black Jewel series? That one series! xD) so I find it hard to picture him as Kist.
And Tony Stark just doesn’t strike me as Quen.
Still trying to accept Johnny Depp as Al. xD
Jake would be a good David.
And Kirk would be an awesome Trent!
Yeah, I could have put in the actor’s name, but that would be a lot of scrolling. xD
September 23, 2010 at 3:02 pm
I know…I’m tempted to change Paul Walker’s role to Kisten;I’ve had Matt Bomer in mind for so long though(although it’s true he’s not a big star). QUEN gave me trouble–I don’t know who to cast? I actually think RDowney Jr would be a good Al(or Hugo Weeving:Matrix/Lord Of the Rings). But–Kim H is VERY big on Johnny Depp as Al(grin). Jake Gillenhall(spell?) is a big star, but he’s not…rough and tough enough for me as the werewolf, David. Tilda Swinton is too perfect, isn’t she? Thanks!
September 24, 2010 at 5:18 am
Dude, I love your casting! And you even cast my favorite actress as my fav character – Kirsten Bell/ Skimmer.
I’ve always pictured someone else as Ceri, though your pick is just as good, or better… Probably better.
Robert Downey jr doesn’t really strike me as a Quen, but he could totally play the role if he tried to, so he’s still a good pick. Plus, like you said, any movie with him in it, is better for it. 😉
September 24, 2010 at 10:28 am
Thanks Fyrefly! I’ve always seen Kristen Bell in that part(Skimmer). Ceri: Malin Akerman has been a very busy actress the last few years and I thought Hollywood would love her in the role. But there are a number of actresses I could see in this role too…Quen: I know, I know, I’m not sure what Quen looks like though…he’s described in the books as a “dark” elf who is older than Trent and has scars on his body/face–I don’t know what to do w/that(laugh)
September 24, 2010 at 7:14 am
Good choices. I don’t agree with all of them, for instance I think Jake Gillenhal would make a better David, and I thought Rachel’s mom was blond. But your choice or Rachel is spot on. She has that look that says she can always get into and out of trouble. The person you picked for Newt has a very “otherworldly” look about her, good choice. I love Johnny Depp as Al, and Trent? All that money with those looks? Too bad he’s an ***hole.
September 24, 2010 at 10:21 am
Thanks Marsha! David: Jake is a big star, so I wouldn’t be opposed to that casting, although I like Sam Worthington’s understated persona. Plus, after AVATAR, he is very HOT right now. Alice: you may be right on the hair color…Kyra Sedgewick was my second choice. I LOVE EMMA STONE for the part of Rachel! It took a couple of years to find the right Rachel and Ivy. Trent: Chris Pine would KILL in that role.
October 29, 2010 at 5:48 pm
good ideas….but i think u´ll need a better ceri!!!maybe a younger girl,someone whos a little….more like a ghost(search for the right words-i´m from germany 😉 ),or more through-shining…..and ms tamwood…what do u think
about milla jovovich or Charlize Theron?i think that Bryce Dallas Howard would be a nice ceri.thanks a lot for thinkin about makin a rachel morgan movie!!!
October 30, 2010 at 4:14 pm
I know…Ceri is a tough one! She’s got this “otherworldly beauty” about her but she’s also been through so much, seen too much. I LOVE all three of your suggestions, not only because they are terrific actresses, but also they are “age appropriate” and are “bankable” Hollywood stars. Your english is just fine!(grin) Great suggestions!
December 30, 2010 at 8:19 pm
I love all your picks.. some at first I thought, I didn’t know, but the more I think about it, they are perfect too. Can’t wait to see what new folks will be in the new book and see who you pick for them!
December 31, 2010 at 11:33 am
Thanks Beckey! Truly, the important thing is that a movie gets made(laugh), there are a lot of good actors out there I would be comfortable with as well. I really like my current picks for the main characters(Rachel/Ivy/Trent). It might, in the end, be more important to get the ‘right’ director, someone who falls in love with the characters and story. 😉
March 4, 2011 at 8:02 pm
I was thinking maybe Britney Snow for Ceri…
And someone completely different for rachel, im not sure Emma Stone is quite right for her… possibly Elena Satine; her look reminds me a lot of her cover pictures. I love all your ideas, apart from those two, as well i’m a little ify about the people you chose for kisten and trent. The one you picked for Newt is awesome!
March 4, 2011 at 9:10 pm
No one likes my pick for Ceri(laugh). I like Britney Snow, but she’s a little young (Ceri is described by Rachel as looking like a woman in her 30s, plus she’s gotta look ‘dangerous’). You don’t like Emma Stone?! I LOVE her–she’s funny, age appropriate, and very hot in Hollywood right now. I’m ‘iffy’ on my Kisten pick as well, but i really like Chris Pine for Trent. Thanks! 😉
March 28, 2011 at 4:22 pm
Well thought out.
March 28, 2011 at 7:40 pm
Thanks. 😉
April 14, 2011 at 1:02 pm
I LOVE EVERY CHOICE! This will change my reading of these books! Every character has a face. Can you imagine how FREAKING AWESOME These movies would be with these actors.
I would die.
You’re rad.
April 14, 2011 at 2:46 pm
Thank you! I’m still lovin’ most of the major choices too…Rachel, Ivy, Jenks(grin)…still need to add Vivian, maybe Ku’Sox, maybe Daryl…
April 18, 2011 at 8:21 pm
Tilda Swinton would make a good Newt, but do you know who I picture everytime I see Newt? The female changling from Star Trek DS9.
Joseph Gordon-Levitt – I can see him as Pierce, but I can’t see Rachel falling for him. I don’t know why.
Your pick for Glenn is great, but lol I think Shemar Moore would just be amazing.
April 19, 2011 at 1:53 pm
Tilda Swinton does seem to be the one pick people really like. I could see Emma Stone(Rachel) and Joseph Gordon-Levitt(Pierce) together…at least for a short period of time(laugh).
April 19, 2011 at 8:13 pm
Oh Tony, I wasn’t saying I didn’t like your picks & I’m sorry if it came across that way. I do love all of your choices, I was just saying who I picture, that’s all. I’m sorry. ~hugs~
April 20, 2011 at 10:29 am
(laugh) Jenn, you are too sweet. Of course I don’t mind–if you poll a hundred different people, you are going to get a hundred different choices! 😀
May 23, 2011 at 11:53 pm
Wow!! These were very good picks. Not totally convinced on Jenks/Timberlake and Trent/Chris Pine. I picture Trent a little stronger and blonder, lol. I think Johhny Depp is perfect as Al and R Downey for Quen. Rachel & Ivy’s picks are dead on. I truly hope there are movies some day…
May 24, 2011 at 10:09 am
Thanks! Truly–there are a lot of great actors to choose from. I tried to pick actors who were not only age-appropriate and good actors, but who are movie stars and are ‘hot’ right now–bankable stars that Hollywood would love to cast in a big budget production. I know my cast is probably to expensive to put in one movie(laugh), but that’s Hollywood’s problem–I’m casting them, not paying them.(grin)
June 5, 2011 at 7:46 pm
If Johnny was in this movie and played as Ali I’d so fall for him in the last book Ms. Harrison put out.
June 6, 2011 at 11:02 am
😀 Johnny Depp would make a great Al, that’s for sure.
June 15, 2011 at 1:12 pm
Great choices for everyone! The only one I have a question on is maggie q as ivy, being described as having “slightly asian features” I always pictured some one like Moon Bloodgood?
June 15, 2011 at 7:19 pm
I LOVE Moon Bloodgood! She starred opposite my ‘David’ pick in Terminator Salvation, Sam Worthington. She is definitely on my ‘short list’ as well. Ivy’s mother is described as Chinese and her dad Caucasian. Maggie Q(Margaret Quigley) is half Chinese and half Caucasian(Polish, I think) as well. She’s very hot right now as an actress and with her physical abilities in martial arts that are on display weekly on television(Nikita) and the new movie, Priest, she would be a nice pick as Ivy. Plus, she’s a really good actress AND when I showed Kim Harrison a video of MaggieQ and asked if she would be OK for the part, her answer was, quote: “Oh! Wow! Absolutely!” That’s a pretty good endorsement! Thanks!
June 19, 2011 at 2:46 am
I must say, well played. I think they are all great choices
June 19, 2011 at 9:56 am
Thanks!
August 29, 2011 at 1:50 pm
i think, pierce doesn’t work. you need a “man” for that job. 😉
October 24, 2011 at 4:38 pm
I really love your list quite a lot. I’ve been obsessed with this series since the first book came out and I tried to think of someone to play Ivy. A lot of people say Megan Fox…yeah she has the sex appeal but she is a horrible actress. Maggie Q is perfect for sure. 🙂 Love Emma Stone as Rachel. She is perfect too. Matt Bomer isn’t a HUGE name but he is getting a lot of publicity for Magic Mike so that really helps. Too bad he isn’t blonde. All your others are really great choices I would never have thought of. I always liked Paul Bettany as Al myself but Johhny Depp would work just as well. The only one I don’t really agree with is Paul Walker as Lee. He does have the California surfer boy thing going on but I always thought Lee was dark…maybe hispanic? I’m not sure who would work better though. Other than that….Fantastic! 🙂
October 25, 2011 at 10:02 am
Thanks! I chose to ‘go big’ on my wish list of actors. These are all very talented, busy actors and it’s probably unrealistic that ALL of them could be hired. But it’s fun to dream. It has been pointed out to me that switching my actor choices for Lee and Pierce might work as well. I’m still VERY solid on my Rachel, Ivy, Jenks, and Trent picks. Thanks again!
November 14, 2011 at 8:41 pm
This is so funny, because I’ve thought of this A LOT and came up with Emma Stone as Rachel too! She’s absolutely spot on for that character! Although Maggie Q was actually my first thought for Ivy, too, (great minds think alike LOL) I like Olivia Wilde better for some reason. And I like Shia LaBoef as Jenks, although Justin Timberlake is also a good choice. Chris Pine is also who I picked for Trent! I was sort of shocked reading your choices, as I picked some of the same ones! What about Dakota Fanning for Ceri?
November 15, 2011 at 11:34 am
Thanks! With the news that the CW is developing a tv series based on the Hollow’s books by Kim Harrison, maybe a movie isn’t going to happen…although it’s still possible I suppose(Star Trek for instance). I love Dakota Fanning – any movie with her in it is going to be better for her participation. Ceri is described in the books(and The Hollow’s Insider) as a woman in her 30s though.
February 16, 2013 at 8:34 pm
That’s funny! I thought of Olivia Wilde as Ivy since I saw her in Tron. She has that look to me. The rest of the choices are EXACTLY what I would have picked for the main characters, too, other than Jenks. For the life of me, I could never figure out who would be good to play him, but I had thought of Shia Leboef. Justin Timberlake is a very good choice. Took me a bit to see that, but now I agree.
December 29, 2011 at 7:49 pm
Really cute.. I’ve read every book. And your casting really does bring them to life! Good choices. 🙂 I’m actually getting ready to start some writing of my own now in a coffee shop in Cincinnati with a raspberry latte with cinnamon (a demon special!). No lie! Just finished the latest book last night.
December 31, 2011 at 12:51 pm
Thanks! It is fun to put faces to these characters. If the CW tv show of the Hollows gets picked up this summer, we’ll all get a chance to see the characters come to life. I’ll be looking forward with everyone else to see who they cast(admittably probably a lot of unknowns, but that’s OK)
Good luck on your writing!
December 31, 2011 at 4:28 pm
Didn’t know they were thinking of making it into a tv show. Interesting! I started reading Terry Goodkind’s “Legend of the Seeker” series after the tv show came out. I stayed a fan of the books, but liked the show less and less. But it was a great production and really brought the books to life. It would be cool if the TV show came out.
PS: Here’s a link I think you would like. I was looking for apartments the other day, and look what I found in “the Hollows” or Covington, Kentucky across the river from Cincinnati: http://cincinnati.craigslist.org/roo/2756829840.html If the page gets taken down, it was a room for rent in a church converted to a living space. 🙂
March 2, 2012 at 8:21 pm
Hi, greetings from Poland (if you know where it is ;P)
I love your Ivy and Rachel (oh my, i haven’t seen this actress, she’s amazing!). Most of actors are great, but I don’t like this Kist 😛 Still, gj for this. Some of those characters I don’t know… Maybe becouse in Poland are only 3 books about Rachel, and publishing house don’t want to pubish more. It’s not enough cost-effective ;/ Anyway. Sorry for my poor english.
Ps. I’m curious of your version of Johnatan, and Mataline, Jenks wife 😉 And This Trent is really … sexy ;D (Yea, he and Ivy are my favourites characters in book.)
Cheers.
March 4, 2012 at 12:27 pm
Hi Neria. I’ve never been to Poland, no, but I think I could locate it on a map(grin). I love my Rachel and Ivy picks too. I need to update the list soon to include new characters introduced in the latest book, A PERFECT BLOOD(book #10 in series). Matalina and Jonathan? Hmmmm…I’ll have to think about that. Jonathan is very tall and menacing and Matalina, like Jenks, is supposed to look like a teenager. Thanks for the comments!
April 18, 2012 at 2:28 pm
I like so many of your pics. have you ever been to storycasting.com? you could set up your cast on there. i cant see emma stone as rachel though. she’t not tall enough and i’m not sure she could be as kick ass as rachel is. have you ever thought of nicole scherzinger as ivy? i see her as a much better body type for ivy. to me she was never described as skinny and maggie q is. but i have thought of maggie q as a good option for ivy. piscary, ku’sox, newt, jeez all of them are such good choices. even jenks, though i cant see justin timberlake talking about fairy farts. haha. good job
April 19, 2012 at 4:03 pm
Eva Green would make the perfect rachel in my book. She is a natural red head, though she has it died brown, and she has freckles all over. she looks more like the rachel i pictured.
April 19, 2012 at 4:31 pm
I really like Eva Green as well. Heck, I wouldn’t argue against her if she was cast, that’s for sure. Emma Stone is very HOT in America right now. And she was pretty kick-ass in the movie Zombieland. She’s also very funny and “age-appropriate” for the part.
April 19, 2012 at 4:44 pm
Ooooooo, Nicole Sherzinger IS very, very hot. (note:she actually is from my home city of Dayton, Ohio and went to the same college – Wright State University – as me)But, I have my heart set on MaggieQ. She’s an excellent actress, and in many ways, Ivy’s part is the most demanding of all. She has a lot of experience fighting on screen/film, so she can handle the physical aspects that the part demands. I think Nicole might be better for the part of Ms. Walker, the scary Banshee from South America. Thanks!
August 18, 2012 at 6:05 am
I always thought of Guy Pierce as Al, maybe Colin Firth?
